On and on I go

Now I'm 23. How odd. I remember planning out when I was much younger that I should be engaged at this age. Far from it! And I don't even have a real career. But onto happier things!

Austin City Limits was so wonderful and fun. Becky and I loved every minute of it! Here are some shots from the weekend...
This was Saturday when we first arrived. I wore my Paris dress b/c later on we saw Phoenix (oh yeah, and lots of girls were wearing hippie dresses like it to keep cool)!

Later on Saturday, we stole some battery powered spritzer fans that had been abandoned. It was a good way to cool off before The Raconteurs came on.

Sunday, we took lots of pictures between sets to pass the time.



All in all, a good ACL Music Festival weekend. The rest of the bands we saw:
Friday - John Mayer
Saturday - Murder by Death, Phoenix, (lunch) The Shins, The Raconteurs, end of Kings of Leon, and beginning of Willie Nelson
Sunday - KT Tunstall, Jose Gonzalez, Matisyahu, The Flaming Lips, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Then the weekend after my birthday Becky came to Austin again to spend the day at a spa with me! What a wonderful birthday present. Joshua babysat the "kids" (a.k.a. all of our dogs), so, after the spa, the three of us went out and had steak dinners at the Saltgrass. The weekends have been treating me quite well, as you can tell! Must get back to the job search now. Ciao!
